Alex is an award winning residential and commercial Interior Designer, TV presenter and owner of Dauley Design, a multidisciplinary design and build practice. Originally  from Wales but now residing in London, Alex creates homes with a contemporary, modern design aesthetic, coupled with an appreciation for traditional architecture and detail driven service, Dauley Design creates considered interiors designed to stand the test of time.

In 2021 Alex won the Black British Business Award for Senior Leader in Consumer and Luxury and also designed the Brixton Studio Bar and Restaurant for global brand Soho House. Alex has also been awarded the accolade of 2024 House and Garden Top 100 Designer, Country and Town House Top 50 Designer and is a Fellow of West Dean College and KLC School of Design.

Alex starred as the sole on screen designer in the Prime Time Channel 4 Interior Design programme “The Great Home Transformation” launched in April 2022, presenting alongside Emma Willis and Nick Grimshaw and has featured as the Interiors expert on BBC One, Morning Live.

Alex is making a huge impact in the Interior Design world as the changing face of interiors, opening up this currently insular industry to a new diverse audience alongside tackling the issues of diversity within Interior Design as co-founder of charitable organisation United in Design.
